01 Apr Changing Your Pets Eating Habits

Like humans dogs and cats also have eating habits and these can sometimes be hard to change. When attempting to get your pet to try new foods sometimes it can take a little more than just one try, especially if they are used to just one food type.

My friend Danielle recently told me about her 9 year old Labrador Sally, who was lying around the family home lethargic and not acting her usual self. Danielle knew something was wrong with the once active Sally and said she didn’t seem to be even interested in her daily walk,  that usually she was racing around the house excited to go on.

I suggested that due to the heat of the Brisbane Summer Sally might be dehydrated and lacking certain key vitamins and minerals and that maybe Danielle should start giving the all natural, soluble vitamin and nutrient supplement PETVIM daily to Sally in her water. I told her that PETVIM is a unique formula of 7 soluble Superfoods including Coconut, Beetroot, Maca and Turmeric and is packed with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and electrolytes and as it is soluble it is up to 9 times more effective for dogs and cats to absorb key essential vitamins and minerals into their daily diet.

Danielle was keen to try this but found that Sally was not so keen. As we humans can be, Sally the Lab also seemed reluctant to try this new supplement in her water. I told Danielle to persevere and to also try adding PETVIM to Sally’s dry or wet food daily, as often cats and dogs will like this better on their first attempt of trying PETVIM.

As I suspected, Sally loved PETVIM on her food and after a few more attempts was lapping it up in her daily water bowl. Danielle said the change in Sally seemed as if it was instantaneous. By adding  PETVIM to Sally’s daily diet it had helped replensish the missing cell salts, vitamins and minerals in her diet. Within a few days of taking PETVIM Sally was running around like her usual self, happy, hydrated, full of life and ever ready to go on her morning walk.
